Join the Signal Hill Fire Department

Thank you for taking the time to look around our web site.  One of the main reasons for Signal Hill Fire to have a website is to reach out to future members and provide information.  Our members joined the department for all sorts of reasons.  Some want the instant satisfaction granted by helping your neighbors in distress.  Some are thinking about becoming career firefighters, and see this as an opportunity to test the waters and make career connections.  Some are looking for a physical and mental challenge that is just down the street.  We need and want all of these kind of people to join our progressive fire department.  Signal Hill Fire will take you off the street, and train you from scratch to be a top notch firefighter that you can be proud of.  Here at Signal Hill we are proud to boast that we carry cutting edge equipment and tools, and provide excellent training on their use.  Below is an online form if you are interested in joining.  You will be contacted within a few days by an appropriate member of the department to answer any questions you may have.  If you would rather come down and see what we're all about, you are welcome to stop in, we train every Monday night (excluding holidays) at 7pm to around 9pm.
